There were already several Grand Theft Auto games in the Play Store, and today Liberty City Stories is added to that list. The game was published ten years ago for the PlayStation Portable and was then received positive. The game was praised for its wide open world and the exciting story. The game has now been ported to Android and features numerous graphical improvements. The environments look a bit sharper and the draw distance is improved, meaning that you can look better in the distance.

In GTA Liberty City Stories you play as Toni Cipriani, a friend of the mafia family Leone, returning to Liberty City to make a fresh start with his life. He soon comes into contact with crime and he must help the Leones to increase their influence in the city. This is done by going through all sorts of missions that you know from previous GTA games. Often you drive with one or more characters to a location where then the necessary gun fighting happens. All this takes place in a huge open world where you have the freedom to do whatever you want.

The control of GTA Liberty City Stories takes getting used to. On the screen, you see virtual buttons, which work reasonably well, but fortunately, the game also supports an external Bluetooth controller. Cool is that Liberty City Stories also works with Android TV, so you can also play the game on the bigger screen of a TV.
