Phhhoto is a new Android and iOS app that makes very short videos of some photos. These look beautiful and are easy to share with others.
Create short movies with Phhhoto
Although Phhhoto was available for iOS quite for some time, it only recently appeared on Android. The photo app turns photos into a very short video, which are played from begin to end and vice versa. Also, they can be divided in different ways with others. This app is very similar to the recently released Instagram app Boomerang, though Phhhoto is more extensive.
Fine about Phhhoto is that it is very easy to use. When you open the app, you end up on the Feed page. Here you’ll find videos made by other users, but you also have the opportunity to respond or share them. At this moment, not many people use Phhhoto, but the social aspect of the app is a nice addition.
To shoot a short video, you should go to the “Camera” tab. Here, it will directly activate the camera of your Android device. At the top a few options are available, including the ability to set a timer or use the flash. A disadvantage is that Phhhoto only works with photos which you shoot at that time. The app, unfortunately, does not import existing snapshots from your gallery. Furthermore, you get different filters every day to liven up your creations.
