PlayStation has launched a separate Messages app to send friends on the PlayStation Network messages.

PlayStation Messages

PlayStation has launched PlayStation Messages for Android and iOS. The app is a way to send your friends messages on the PlayStation Network. Previously this was already possible in the loose PlayStation app, but not anymore.

In the app you can see which friends are online and what they play. In the list you will see both the nicknames of your friends as well as the full names if you have requested it via PSN. You can send your friends text messages and recorded voice messages. The app also supports group messages to one hundred participants.

The best part of the app are the stickers which PlayStation has been copied clearly from Telegram. When chatting, you can download sticker packs for specific games such as the beautiful Journey, The Last of Us. or LittleBigPlanet. Message Groups that you use often can be added to a favorite list.
